What is Apostille?
Apostille is nothing but the authentication procedure for public documents to be internationally recognized. After getting an apostille from MEA i.e. Ministry Of External Affairs, there is no need to get any other kind of document authentication from the embassy. The process of authentication or legalization is called apostillisation.
